Privacy Policy

CustomerHalo, Inc. ("CustomerHalo," "we") analyzes how businesses appear in public. This policy explains what we collect about you, what we gather about businesses from public sources, and the choices you have. Questions any time: [email protected].

1. What we collect from you

What you give us: your business website address, the business location and services you confirm, the service and goal you choose to focus on, and your email address.
How you use the product: basic product events (analysis started, report viewed, purchase completed and similar) so we can run and improve the service.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your payment and your checkout email — never your card number.

2. What we gather about businesses

Reports are built from public sources: public reviews and ratings, public business listings, the business's own website, and live search results, including AI-assistant search results. This is information already visible to any member of the public; we organize and analyze it.

3. How we use it

To produce your reports and plans, send the transactional email the product depends on (your report link, purchase confirmation, plan delivery, and the recheck you're owed), respond to support, and improve the product. That's the list.

4. What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your information. We don't run advertising trackers. We don't add you to marketing lists — the email we send is transactional. We don't use private booking, revenue, or customer data, because we never have it.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a session cookie so your report stays yours, and Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. No third-party advertising cookies.

On our marketing website (customerhalo.com) we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, with Google's advertising signals and ad-personalization features disabled — it measures traffic, not you. The app (app.customerhalo.com), where your reports live, carries no third-party analytics at all: the only usage measurement there is our own, first-party, and never shared.

6. Who processes data for us

Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and the search and data providers we use to collect the public business information described above. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your information while we provide the service to you. Email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete your information and we'll handle it promptly.

8. Children

CustomerHalo is a service for businesses and isn't directed to anyone under 18.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
